River Rafting in Nepal

River Rafting in Nepal Experience the Best White Water Adventures

If you want a thrilling adventure, river rafting in Nepal offers many options. You can take a gentle one-day float down the Trishuli or Seti rivers. Or, you can try a 10-day expedition through the rapids of the remote Tamur, Arun, and Karnali rivers. No matter your skill level, Nepal’s famous white waters have a trip for you.

Nepal’s rivers change with the seasons, adding to the excitement of rafting here.

Each year, heavy monsoon rains swell the rivers. This changes the flow and the nature of the rapids. As a result, new rapids form, some become harder, and others might become impossible to navigate. So, keep in mind that the white water action you read about could change by the time you arrive. At MRR, we monitor river conditions constantly. This helps us ensure safety and plan expeditions carefully.

Nepal has earned a reputation as one of the world’s top destinations for white water rafting. Rivers are graded from one to six based on their difficulty. Grades one to four are challenging but safe for beginners. Grade five requires previous rafting experience.
