Everest view trekking trail meanders through the lush vegetation of Sagarmatha National Park that protects plenty of pine forest, rhododendron flowers and abundant wild species. This exotic trail takes you to 3,868m above from sea level and commands surreal view of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Amadablam (6,856m), Lhotse (8,516m), Nuptse (7,872m) and other astounding mountain peaks in the world. The concluding days of Everest view trail will be spent in delightful and scenic village of Kunde (3,700m) and Khumjung (3,800m). It is best alternative to avoid the classical route for yoga in  Everest base camp and other trekking trail of Everest region. The best season to go for Everest view yoga trek is between mid-Septembers to mid-Decembers when the nature is decorated at its finest. Since, Everest view trek takes you to the elevation of more than 3,000m, it demands moderate fitness level to complete the trek. Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport (1,300m)

After your arrival at Kathmandu, our airport representative will receive you and transfer you to hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m) and trek to Phakding (2,600m) – 30 minutes flight

After short morning flight to Lukla, our local guide and porter will receive you in the airport. Start your trek following the route of Chaurikharka village and descend towards Dudkoshi Ghat (2,530m). The Everest view trail follows the route of Dudkoshi River until Phakding (2,600m). You will stay overnight there to acclimatize yourself. Enjoy free time at Phakding strolling around the town.

Day 03: Phakding to Namchebazzar (3,440m/11,283ft) – 5/6 hours

Early morning yoga session then after breakfast, trek to Namchebazzar, the biggest Sherpa settlements in Nepal. The first section of trail goes through Dhudh Koshi river back and crosses suspension bridge before reaching Monjo (2 hours). We then enter into the vicinity of Sagarmatha National Park where you get brief permit checking. After that, we descend to Dudhkoshi River and trek all the way to Namche passing Jorsale. Stay overnight at Namche.

Day 04: Namchebazzar to Tengboche (3,860m) - 5/6 hour

Early morning yoga session then after an breakfast, we depart from Namchebazaar to Tengboche with only a short altitude gain. En route- enjoy the excellent view of Mt. Amadablam, Lhotse and Everest itself.

Day 05: Tengboche to Monjo (3,340m) - 7 hours

Today we return to Nache Bazzar by hiking down to Monjo. Then we will do yoga we will trek  Monjo is steeply down along the Bhote Koshi. We then cross the river and follow the Jorsale before entering to Monjo where we overnight.

Day 06: Monjo to Lukla (2,840m) – 5 hours

Early morning yoga session then our trail route follows the banks of the Dudh Koshi River and climb uphill for an hour to reach Lukla.

Day 07: Flight back to Kathmandu

Flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Enjoy your leisure day strolling around the Thamel city. Attend farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant.

Day 08: Final Departure

Transfer to airport for final departure

      Equipments  we need in trekking
      • Duffel or Shoulder straps bag or suitcase.
      • Warm wool or synthetic clothes , hat that covers your head and ears from cold during trek (only in winter season(January, February and December)
      1. Goggles for sunbeam dust and wind.
      2. A neck warmer  for extra warmth if you feel you will need it and is for winter season (January, February and December). Optional pair of  warm gloves (This is required if your are travelling in winter season  January, February and December).
      3. Woolen t-shirt for warmth.
      4. Waterproof (preferably breathable fabric) shell jacket (During in rainy season from June to September.
      5. 1 Pair cotton pants (loose jeans/khakis), 1 Pair shorts.
      6. 2 Pairs lightweight long underwear/thermals (During the trek in  winter January, February and December).
      7. 2 pairs of liner socks, synthetic or capilene.

Frequently Asked Questions:


Do I need previous hiking experience required to go on a trek?
If you are physically fit and have extra Exercise enough enthusiasm for the trip previous experience is not required.

Could I trek without a guide?
You could, the area is very safe and in most cases navigation is relatively easy-however with a guide you will get more out of the experience. Having someone with you that knows the local customs and language helps you interact with people you meet in remote villages, and shows that you respect their culture.

What will happen if I get sick on the trek?
Either you will get better, or if it seems serious we will evacuate you with Helicopter and will be taken to Hospital in Kathmandu where you’ll get excellent attention. Our crew is well versed in medical and emergency care and carry a reasonably comprehensive first aid kit.

What will happen if I get injured?
If it is serious (this has never happened). You will again be taken care by our staff. If evacuation is required, this will be arranged by Visit Nepal tour. It’s advised that if you have any personal doubts you should have evacuation insurance arranged. Nepal Tour Guide Team can advise you on this.

Will I get sick?
Not likely. The worst is you may get some diarrhea or temporary stomach upset. Please look our staying healthy during holiday topic for details. Follow the health advice given in our briefings during welcome dinner and you’ll be fine.

What is the food like on the trek?
Fantastic! If you haven't already tried Dal Bhat you are in for a treat - there is nothing better to fill that trekking appetite. Dal Bhat is the signature Nepali dish - rice and lentil soup served with two types of curried vegetables and pickles. It is on the menu in every tea-house on the trek. A nice breakfast specialty you might also want to try is Tibetan Gurung bread with honey. The mountain tea houses will also serve up more familiar western dishes like pizza, or muesli for the morning

Is there a problem with altitude sickness?
For our tours/treks below 4000m, there is little likelihood of being subject to altitude sickness, unless you are taking one of our more extreme adventure tours. Kathmandu rests at an altitude of only 1350-m (4430ft) and at this altitude there is no likelihood of altitude related sickness.

We’ll be advising you well in advance if altitude is an issue. Our tours/treks above 4000m do require acclimatization periods and any of our tours needing acclimatization has it built into the itinerary and that comes from 13 years of experience and the best medical advice...
